The ventilator is designed for use on patients up to 20kg, in conventional ventilation. In high frequency oscillation ventilation up to 20kg, dependent on lung condition. .
Basic configurations are available:
- Neonatal
- Premature
- Infant
Ventilation Modes:
CPAP: (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) spontaneous breathing with positive airway pressure
IPPV/IMV: (Intermittent Positive Pressure Ventilation) (Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation)
SIMV: (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation)
SIPPV: (Synchronized Intermittent Positive Pressure Ventilation)
PSV: (Pressure Support Ventilation) (optional as of software version 5.n)
HFV: High-frequency ventilation
VG and VIVE
The Babylog power up and the unit self test completed successfully. The display LCD, soft keys and rotary selector knobs in good working order. The unit was tested with medical air and test lung.
